Hi Glycemic Refined Sugars and Breads are Linked to Breast Cancer.

In a study of 61,433 over 17 years, found increases in estrogen receptor (ER) positive and progesterone receptor (PR) negative cancers.Women in the highest category of "glycemic load" had an 81% increased risk of ER+/PR- tumors, and those with the highest carbohydrate intake had a 34% increased risk, compared to those in the lowest groups. It is likely that food associated increases in the hormone insulin as well as female reproductive hormones are driving this significant increase.reference: Int J Cancer. 2009 Jul 1;125(1):153-7 (written by dr. peter bongiorno, www.InnerSourceHealth.com
