Medical Consultant to Nourish This

Dr. Ryan O'Connor received his Bachelor of Science from Boston College, was involved in genetic research at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York for one year and subsequently went on to obtain his Doctorate of Medicine at St. George's University.  He is currently doing his medical residency at Norwalk Hospital in Connecticut, where he will be Chief Resident in 2010.  He has specific interest in following a career in Gastroenterology.

Although his training has been in traditional medicine, Ryan hopes to one day be involved in a practice that not only accepts, but integrates alternative medicine.  He believes the complexity of the body and mind is the exact reason that they should be treated together in a comprehensive approach.  He also believes that it is imperative to start the healing process with the foundation of a healthy lifestyle, including both exercise and diet.  It is for this reason that Ryan believes Nourish This has such great importance to the public by providing diets, meals and nutritional information that is of utmost benefit to anyone who is even considering taking care of their bodies and minds in a delicious and exciting way.
